Capybaras are generally seen as sweet, outgoing animals, and this particular cutie makes friends with everyone she meets!
World, meet Cheesecake the fabulous and adorable Capybara. Though she's pretty different from the rest of her family, she doesn't let it get in the way of loving them at all! The six-year-old was first brought to the Rocky Ridge Refuge, a sanctuary for abused and neglected animals in Arkansas, as a baby.
Janice Wolf, the founder of the sanctuary, says that Cheesecake initially lived inside her home with her dogs, who completely accepted her.
She eventually began taking care of orphaned puppies herself!

However, Cheesecake doesn't discriminate when doling out affection. She loves every animal at the sanctuary, including a deer...

...this chicken whose favorite pastime is chilling on Cheesecake's back...
...and even Moonpie, the adorable miniature cow who thinks she's a dog!
She was totally content with being the only capybara there, but fate brought Cobbler to her when a teenager bought him from an exotic pet trader and flew him to New York City, where he isn't legal. Wolf was happy to give him a new home.
Now they're best friends with each other as well as everyone else!
But just because she isn't the only one of her kind anymore doesn't mean she neglects her other friends!
